Raised in Western Sydney NSW Australia, Dizar Lee entered the world of Hip-hop via

doing a little bit of Breakin'. It wasn't until he saw a segment on television that featured

turntablism one morning that really inspired him to get a pair of turntables and a mixer. In

May 2001 at the age of 16, he purchased a set and started collecting records then started to

rock parties. To further the arts of turntablism and djing, he attended the United DJ's mixing

school on top of practicing and watching DMC & ITF videos.

Dizar Lee has battled and placed 3rd in the NSW DMC DJ Championships Australia 2004,

Semi-Finalist ITF DJ Championships North Coast Region “Advancement Class” 2005 and

then gaining the title of UK DMC DJ TEAM CHAMPION 2011 alongside Invincible

Armour Crew. Invincible Armour represented the UK in the WORLD DMC DJ TEAM

Championships 2011, respectively placing 5th in the world.

He spins Hip-hop, Soul, Funk, R&B, Reggae, Dub, Dancehall & bits and pieces of sub-genres

that it is related to.

Dizar Lee was apart of “Nstrg8trz Crew” (Australia) “Invincible Armour” (UK) and was the

scratch DJ for 5 piece Ska/Hip-hop Band “Left Step Band” (UK). He currently is the tour DJ

for NYC Queens native based in Western Sydney artist “Kev Hannibal” Dizar Lee has

performed in numerous venues, events and festivals as a DJ and with collectives locally,

nationwide and internationally. Countries performed include Australia, NZ, UK, and USA

just to name a few.

He has worked for physical record distribution companies in Sydney and in London as well

as working at the London based record store “Wyld Pytch Rekords”

To further his skills he went to study Music Technology at Ealing & Hammersmith College,

UK and then onto study at Alchemea College UK for Audio Engineering and Music

Production. On top of shadowing in sessions in a real world recording studio

environment, At Alchemea College he

was able to get hands on on experience with working with artists/musicians/songwriters

practicing recording/mixing and producing in vast genres ranging from Jazz,

Alternative Rock, Folk, Dancehall to Funk.

Living in total of 5 years in the UK, he came back to Sydney and set up “Airhorn Recordings”

established in 2014. It consisted of recording, mixing and music production services

then eventually making the shift

into self-releasing original music via collaboration.

He has been sharpening up his skills as a writer and producer working with artists and songwriters       

around the globe. Dizar Lee is apart of the “Hit Music Lab” songwriting/production team (founded by Jhay C) established in 2020. 

In collaboration with Jhay C and the Hit Music Lab network, 

   he has provided his work to various label and sync projects which has resulted in on going music placements on TV  

channels such as ESPN,  Food  Network, BET, Tennis Channel, WE tv and many more.
